Corinthians 13:4-13 Teaches Us What Love Is
Life is ever-changing, constantly evolving through time shaped by the very fabric of one simple truth. Love.
The very basis of man's journey throughout time has been, and will always be love.
The quiet confidence one feels while awaiting the results of a job interview. The swelling of emotion felt on the children's first day of school. The pounding of the groom's heart while watching his bride-to-be make her way down the aisle. The unwavering faith that adverse situations will indeed get better. The forgiveness for mistakes that we are bound to make because we are human and not perfect.
Love is not arrogant, it just is.
The determination to succeed when not another soul believes that you can. Maybe it is something as simple as a post-it with three words written on it that has been left on the bathroom mirror where your your significant other is sure to see it upon waking up after working the night shift.
Love is genuine, and love is eternal.
Love is patient love is kind. It does not envy it does not boast it is not proud.
